    Lynne, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in obtaining a refund from Go! Airlines. I was notified that Go! Airlines will no longer be providing service after April 1st and subsequently was not able to fulfill the flight I had purchased through Orbitz.com . The Go!     Booked a flight thru Orbitz, to go to Puerto Rico on 26 Dec 2014. I was going to my mom funeral. When I got to the airport I was told that I could not get in to the plane because my flight was cancelled due to overbooking by the airline.   • Never use to book flights



    I was looking to fly to memphis for thw weekend and after watching flight prices for about a week I found a fair price and decided to book my flight. Well when given the option to book through the airline website and orbitz ( which was only a few dollars cheaper) I picked orbitz which was the wrong choice.     Orbitz customer service reps lied to is several times telling us our seats had been changed so they were together as the website would not confirm. Seat change never resolved. My husband & I are on our honeymoon worried & wasting hours talking to orbitz requesting a resolution.     I had bought a ticket back in Dec 2013 and had to cancel my ticket cuz of my sickness. they said i can rebook it within a year so i called them today on April 2nd trying to rebook my ticket.     Never again will I use Orbitz to book ANYTHING. I had made a flight reservation to go away Thanksgiving 2013. I had to cancel the trip and since I purchased traveler's insurance, I was told I would get a travel voucher. RIGHT. Might as well have cancelled and been out $530.00.   • Don't trust ORBITZ or US AIRWAYS



    Spent over 3 hours calling Orbitz and US airways trying to simply change my flight!! The US airways agent was NO help at all and when speaking with Orbitz they told me they suggest canceling my flight then I would have $250 credit towards a new flight minus the $200 fee Us airways takes.   • Charged twice for payment



    I bought 4 return air tickets for my family trip to Korea but they deducted the full amount from my bank and even hold up the same amount in my bank. So am I going to pay twice for the 4 tickets ? There's no way other form of communication to reach there especially for customers like me who reside out of the US.     I booked a return flight from Philly to LA from Orbitz - Customer Support (toll free number) . I was traveling with my wife and my 3 year old daughter and booked three seats. There was a layover in Euston while going and had a direct return flight (Total three flights). In all three flights they booked three seats in three different corner of the flight.   • Orbitz Booked My Worst Travel Experience Ever



    1.     We received a reservation from Orbitz for 6 nights first night was for $ 76.00 and balance night were at $ 8.00 a night. Out of courtesy we checked the guest in and thought Orbitz will correct there mistake but in return they advised us to honor that rate.We advise all hotels to be careful and do not check any guest who walk in your hotel with such rate Orbitz will never honor it.     I recently scheduled a flight to LA, California and another flight from LA to San Francisco for the weekend and then a final flight from San Francisco back home. Due to other family members not being able to fly in to San Francisco I needed to cancel the part of my trip to San Francisco.     I recently bought a flight using Orbitz back on January 26th. This flight was purchased for February 20th. When I went to check my flight status on February 16th my flight information said my flight wasn't scheduled until March 20th.     This review has been resolved or replied to by this company. My family and I booked a trip using orbitz. I suffered a miscarriage while we were away and was advised by two medical doctors not to fly until my condition was stabilized. Not only did orbtiz give us an extremely hard time about changing flights. They left us on hold for stretches of 30-40 minutes, during which the price of the new flight jumped from $900-$1600 and they could not get us to our original destination city.     On Sep 1st 2013 I purchased 5 airline tickets using Orbitz online services. The total fare was $4500 and the flight was for Sep 21. Before I completed my order I opened the fare rules page to check the cancellation policy.     Insane. This has happened twice to me in the last 6 months. I had booked flights - once to fly 3 days from the booking and the second instance was 4 months in advance.     So I booked a ticket from Bangkok to San Francisco over the holidays through Orbitz because normally I am fine with the site and like being able to select my seat in advance. However, while looking at my booking two days later, I decided to see if the price moved up as every other website had predicted. It had actually gone down by over 250 dollars.     Bought a ticket online, They didn't even post or asked whether or not the flight is required any additional Documents. So, If you don't fly a lot, I would not recommend Orbitz.com as a Ticket Purchasing Outlet. I don't feel we should have been given that option if our needs could not be met. Also I looked up the carry on bags fees, sizes and regulations.     I will never again use Orbitz! Very poor customer service and company structure. Had to cancel package trip in April,2013, since I booked another trip to Europe with my credit payed a lot in cancelation fees and I am still getting e mails with my original trip from April. They don't seem to know what they are doing. Not to mention 2 hours 54 minutes on the phone with polite but condescending agent from Philipnines. I guess Us work force is too expansive.A lot of hustle, it would have been easier to book direct!Like I said never again I hope they go under! More...

    I recently purchased a plane ticket from PDX to DEN. Flight confirmation says " Total due at booking, $383.60. Taxes and fees included". It also says, "Additional baggage fees may apply." I looked up the additional baggage fees -- one carry-on (24"x16"x10"), one personal item (18" x 14" x 8"). But this is NOT TRUE! I showed up with my son to check in. We have now been sitting in St. Petersburg, FL for five hours in a hotel parking lot that we do not have a reservation, even after we made a reservation on Orbitz. We have now been sitting here for over five hours waiting for them to find us a hotel after they screwed up our initial reservation. We sat on hold with three different individuals in the parking lot of the hotel while we should have been checked into our one-bedroom ocean view suite and should have been sitting on the beach. This is the absolute worst customer service we have ever experienced and we will never book on Orbitz again. We are a couple that travels more than once per month all over the world and we will never ever use this site again. I am absolutely shocked at the terrible service of this company, and will be sure to spread the word to never use this service.

So this is my story I booked a flight due to a family emergency, and the flight was from Boston to Frankfurt to Munich and after to Moldova .When I got to airport 3 hours before the flight to check in they informed me that I can't bird since I have no visa for Germany since Frankfurt to Munich is a domestic flight . I went to Lufthansa ticketink desk to se if anyone can help me and all they said is that they don't have anything similar and that I should call the agency that I booked with which I did after 30 min if hold agency transferred me back to Lufthansa coustomer service since is nothing to do with them. Well after another painful 45 min the coustomer representative fro Lufthansa tells me they don't have anything similar unless I can pay 1600$ extra on top of my 2200$ which I already spent . I was shocked I hang up and looked at the time it was 4:45 pm my original flight left !!! I went to the counter for tickets and ask a different person if he could help me he tried but unfortunately since so much time past the only option was to pay 1252 $ extra which was cheaper then someone else told me and I have to depart next following day and with a stop in Munich of 11 hours so ill be arriving on Sunday at 11:55 pm in Moldova . I had no choise and I did book it.
Well now let's get back for my reason of traveling on short notice , it was because my father had his second hart atack and was in a hospital and in all this time I spent in trying to get to Moldova he past away .... Now I'm writing this on Friday night on may third 2013 , the sad story I have no choice to wait till tommorow to get on my flight that Lufthansa charged me again to get there on almost Monday when is my loved fathers burial .
I will leave the same rewiev to orbitz which I will advice to evryone never to use.

I Booked A Hotel In Myrtle Beach For St. Patricks Day(3/15-3/17)Weekend Through Orbitz. I Recieved An E-Mail That Confirmed My Reservations. After Driving 5Hrs To Get To My Destination, The Hotel Had A Cancellation Notice From Orbitz. I Never Cancelled! I called Orbitz Customer Service Line, Just To Be Put On Hold For Over 45Minutes. I Couldnt Get Through To Anyone. Luckily, The Hotel Had A Room Left. I Went Ahead And Paid Through The Hotel Which Was $70 More Dollars Than What I Had Originally Paid Orbitz, And Stayed.I couldnt Get Through To Customer service Until The Next Day At Orbitz.The CustomerService Representative Was VERY Rude To My Complaint. VERY Rude. She Argued, Cut Me Off From Talking, Put Me On Hold WHILE I Was Talking...Was Very Unhelpful. After Being On The Phone With Her For Over An Hour, She Said I Should Recieve My Refund From orbitz Within 72 Hour. What About The Extra $ That I Had To pay At The hotel? What About The Extreme Inconvenience? What About A Cancellation Fee For Reservations That I Didnt Even Cancel? We Shall See. I Am A Returning Customer Of Orbitz, But After What I Was Put Through, They Have Lost Me As A Customer. I Will Not Be Using Them Again.

I was trying to purchase an airline ticket online. what happend, It did not went thru and I did it again and again hopeping that it will go through it didnt. I went banking online right away, OMG orbits chargrd my cards $2 three time. I was so disappointed because the transaction it didnt went through not complete but they charged us anayway. I called orbitz 800 number and the lady that answer the call said, "oh its just a pendig charges". I think orbitz its a rip off! the transcas it did not went through but yes they already charged me 2$ three times. I thought i can save money but no I ended up charges in my card that i didnt even get. it is a rip off! I try t convience another orbitz customer service if she could wave the phone charged if i do it on the phone because i couldnt do it online but she said she cant wave the $25 phone transaction fee, it is a rip off! instead of helping me to wave the $25 dollars they try to get more money out of me. It is a total rip off!

Orbitz vacation booking misleading

When I made my booking for a vacation trip in Cancun on March 4th on the Orbitz Web site, the option of "all inclusive" was offered and I made sure that I selected it. In the reservation confirmation, the note "EXCLUSIVE! Beach Hotel Promotion" was included which I interpreted as being the indication of the "all inclusive" option. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that they had not had any agreement with Orbits for "all inclusive" since March 2011. Having re-checked Orbitz Web site for the same travel package on March 24th, the option of "all inclusive" no longer appeared. I called the Orbitz office from the hotel on March 24th and after an hour of wait and transfer, I was told that this was my word against theirs and nothing would be done. My guess is that this misleading information on the Orbitz Web site resulted from a sloppy maintenance of the Web site and they would not recognize their error. This is unacceptable. Beware!!!

Excursion RIP-OFF!!!! I booked my trip through Orbitz instead of going directly through the cruise line because they offered a $70.00 credit on an excursion. I chose an excursion and paid the extra $56.00. Then when I took the trip I realized that this excursion that THEY offered could not be taken because we would not be there yet. It never should have been offered. Worse part......not only did my travel agent through orbitz not help, but neither did orbtz. They pushed me off onto shore excursions (the company orbitz booked through)They denied me twice saying that 6 other people from my boat were there.Lie lie lie!!. I had to contact Carnival and get them to send me an email with the details of the time table that the ship was on to prove I wasn't there. Carnival who I didn't book from helped me when Orbitz did NOTHING. I did get back my $56.00 after all that effort but got screwed on the Orbitz end. FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU. FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON ME.....That's not gonna happen

Don't use orbitz to plan ur vocation they will lie to u n tell u how great everything is but when u get to the flight/hotel it's nothing like they say it is (in a bad way of course)
