Orbitz Cancellation Policy is misleading - Misrepresentation


I made 2 reservations to Canada with Orbitz for a total cost of $1400 on Air Canada. When I had to cancel due to unforseen circumstances, I agreed to pay a $150 cancel fee plus $30 service fee per ticket. When I called 2 months later they claimed I had to pay a $258 service fee per ticket. I was also informed for the first time, that since the new tickets I booked had a total cost of only $700 that I would be forfeiting the several hundred dollars I did not spend - no credit voucher or similar option was available to me. In order to determine this, I spent more than 2 hours on the line with Orbitz customer service.
