Orbitz Reserving & Confirmed Airline Seat - Confirmation of Airline Seats
We booked our flight with Orbitz in March 2009 we got to view and choose our seats. About a month before we were to leave on our trip we checked on our reservations the seats we thought were confirmed and reserved were now pending the airlines approval. I called Hawaiian Airlines they told me the seats we booked were only for their selling not Orbitz and Orbitz knew it and left the seats open to reservations. The ending result the reservations for the flight was booked with Hawaiian Airlines but we would not have the seats we thought were confirmed and reserved. Hawaiian Airlines would not guarantee we would be even seated together. Hawaiian Airlines did give us seats together window and aisle row 41 and row 32 they were very gracious and it taught us a lesson never to book with Orbitz again.
