First, there is NO way to reach Orbitz customer service on the web site. Great strategy to keep unhappy customers away!

I spent weeks tracking flights from Vancouver to Cancun and decided on last Wednesday night to purchase. There had been a $504 Air Canada fare listed for 4 different flight times for days, so I decided to book one of them. I spent over an hour clicking on that fare only to have it come up with the message that "fares change quickly and it's no longer available" or some such message. But when I would go back to do the search over again, it kept coming up. I finally called Orbitz and was told that it was a problem that sometimes happens and that they would escalate it to Air Canada. In the meantime, my only choice was to book on another carrier with horrendous travel times, and for $140 per ticket higher. Paying so much more and taking 15 hours to get there, including having to take red eyes with children is just awful. Your agent was lovely, but that doesn't make me less angry about the outcome.

Also, she never asked me about using my Orbitz award points that are expiring, so now they'll go unused.

Today I get an email from Orbitz again, saying "looking for a flight to Cancun? and advertising that $504 fare again. I'm infuriated that this is so misleading. I book with Orbitz for ease of finding the best flight, and it's completely deceptive. And if you want to blame Air Canada, well then either fix it or don't carry their fares. Of course,I understand that's not in your best interest. For you it's easier to just cheat the customers and make it hard for them to find you to complain.
