Midway Car Rental, LAX: Great Place to Rent a Car - Car Rental

Midway Car Rental is an outstanding place to rent a car. After reading many discouraging reviews on lower-cost rental agencies, we found this company to have a good rating, and our experience supports that. The communication before renting was outstanding (we had a special request), the shuttle from the airport to the lot was amazingly efficient (did not have to wait at all to be picked up), customer service at the lot was wonderful, both for picking up the car and in dropping it off. Each person we dealt with was attentive and ready to address our needs. When we had problems with our hotel van transportation, they checked on us frequently while we were waiting and even offered a ride so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. The car we rented was exactly the model we had asked for (no smoke or offensive odors) and was a low-mileage vehicle. We drove the car for two weeks and encountered no problems whatsoever. Just be sure to follow the directions for picking up the Joe's Parking shuttle, as it does not stop at the location for the other car rental pick-ups. Midway Rental sent us very clear instructions beforehand and a number to call if we had any problems. We definitely will rent here again--great prices and excellent service. Our reservations were made through Orbitz and all worked perfectly--right car, right price, right time and dates.
